Finding Your Passion and Regulating Your Nervous System

Spring has arrived, and in Seattle, that's a big deal – for me, at least. As a former Cali girl who moved to Seattle, I knew I had become a Seattleite when that first sunny day hit 60 degrees, and I felt the need to just lay in the sunshine like I had solar panels. But of course, I love it here. If the sun is out in March, I am outside getting my garden ready. Warmer weather and longer days can help us shed the winter blues and tap into our passions.

I believe that pursuing activities that make us feel alive and bring us joy is key to achieving our potential and regulating our nervous system. That's why, as a life coach, I encourage my clients to find something that fuels their souls.

For me, one of those things that makes me light up inside and fuels my soul is photography. Some of you might know that I used to have a photography business called Light and Sound Photography, but life got in the way, and photography took a back seat. However, I'm excited to announce that Light and Sound Photography is back, starting with some mini-sessions.

To kick off my reopening, I'll be offering mini sessions on Friday and Saturday of April 28th and 29th at Mo's Garden in West Seattle. If those dates don't work for you, don't worry – I'll be repeating the mini session again in May with enough expressed interest.

My mini-session package includes a 40-minute outdoor photoshoot, perfect for capturing your family's memories. You can bring your people, your pets, and anything else you would love to include in your session. The location is outdoors, but indoor staging will be available in case of typical Seattle rainy day weather. You'll receive 30-45 high-quality digital images and a link for sharing and printing.

The price for my mini-session package is $300. If you're interested in booking a mini-session, please let me know or schedule directly using this link: https://calendly.com/monica-hines-rn/photo-sessions

I want to shine light back into the world in many ways, both with my photography and in coaching. It's interesting when you start to lean into the things that make you feel alive – it can lead you to unexpected places.

Follow me here for more information on how to have better brains and better lives so we suffer less, become healthier and happier, and equip ourselves to pass on what we're learning to others. Let's capture some memories along the way. Keep following my journey and tell your friends. Let's all shine light everywhere.

Love and Light,

Monica Hines
