Clearing Space: Making Room for Change

Happy Monday, friends!

As we enter mid-July, you might not think it's the ideal time to focus on getting organized. However, this week, I want to draw your attention to the importance of clearing things out.

Why? Because over the next couple of months, I will be sharing some of my favorite resources for each of the 12 weeks of my signature program, Revive and Thrive. This comprehensive 90-day intensive program is designed to help you break free from burnout and rediscover a life filled with joy, purpose, and resilience.

If you want to learn more about how to harness your body’s wisdom and wake up living the life you want check out the program link.

Revive and Thrive, a comprehensive 90-day intensive

Making Space for Change:

Goal setting is crucial when embarking on a new journey or striving to create new habits, and I will dive more into goal setting in my next newsletter. But before we can dive into setting goals, we must first make space for change. Imagine reorganizing your living room and bringing in a beautiful new sofa. Before you can place the new furniture, you need to remove some of the old furniture to create space. Energetically, the same principle applies when we want to cultivate new habits.

The Essence of Clearing:

Clearing is not solely about taking action. It's not about addressing issues or solely focusing on desired outcomes. Clearing, in the context of this program, goes beyond these external factors.

Here's what clearing truly means:

·      Clearing is an opportunity to bring compassionate awareness to areas of your home and life that are out of balance.

·      Clearing is a journey that can be messy and meandering, without always following a linear path.

·      Clearing is a daily practice that starts right where you are.

·      Clearing is about energetically making space for the change you want to bring into your life.

The Power of Processing:

As you engage in clearing, you may encounter emotional and mental challenges. When working with me in my program, we help you navigate these obstacles and discover the transformative power of processing. It's about acknowledging and releasing attachments, fears, overwhelm, confusion, and feeling stuck. The true essence lies in processing these emotions without clinging to them.

You don’t have to work with a coach to bring awareness to this; you simply have to be intentional.

What is one thing in your home/office/car that needs some attention or clearing? Can you pick one thing to clear this week? Just bring your awareness to what that is and, more importantly, how it would feel to make more space.

For me, this week it's going to be my kitchen junk drawer, which somehow always collects the craziest stuff.

Notice how it feels a little different and don’t judge me too much. :)

 Awareness and Transformation:

Clearing is a catalyst for change. By tuning in to your feelings without attachment and cultivating awareness, you can transform your relationship with the "gunky stuff" that arises during the clearing process. My program will guide you in developing a new perspective and approach to create lasting transformation in your life.

Clearing space is essential on your journey toward personal growth and transformation. Through the Revive and Thrive program, we will embark on this transformative process together, providing you with the tools and guidance to navigate clearing with compassion and awareness.

Stay tuned for the upcoming weeks, where we will explore additional themes and resources to support your path to renewal.

Another thing I would like to start doing is giving shout-outs to those people I have had the amazing opportunity to meet, who are helping others in their internal work.

Local Business Shout-Out:

This week's shout-out goes to two exceptional professional home organizers who are doing incredible work in their respective areas. Be sure to check out their websites and don’t forget to follow them on Instagram for amazing content:

Seattle Area: Jean Prominski, Certified Professional Organizer, and Productivity Coach

Tacoma/ Seattle Area: Ashley, Owner & Professional Organizer of Clear Spaces Organizing Co.

Sometimes, we all need a little extra support in creating space and clearing clutter. These professionals provide invaluable assistance, whether you're based in the Seattle or Tacoma area. If you know someone who deserves a shout-out in your local town send their information my way. I am always looking to be inspired by others and promote local businesses.

Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey. Together, let's create the space for change and embrace the path to renewal.

Before we wrap up, I leave you with two questions:

  1. What is one thing in your life you can clear to make room for new and positive change?

  2. Who is someone you know who may benefit from this blog post, and can you share it with them? Share this link

Wishing you a week filled with clarity and progress!

Love and light,

Monica
